In 2009 long-time Brevard builder and developer, Charlie Boyd, along with his bride Cynthia, completed the construction their dream contemporary home on an amazing water front site in Cocoa Beach. During the design and construction phases, Charlie called upon is nephew, Christopher Burton, and the Burton team to assist in helping with the project. “The project was 100% Charlie’s,” says Burton. “We just helped and offered suggestions and advice along the way. I learned everything I know about this business from my uncle and I’m so blessed that he asked us to help.”

The Boyd residence has been featured in Spaces Magazine and was an extremely popular and award-winning entry in the Spring 2009 HBAC Parade of Homes. A House On the Lake

What do builders do to relax? Of course, they build things on the weekends and in their spare time. Chris and Ginger Burton love Georgia and if you were to ask Ginger about it, you would be able to tell volumes just from her voice. Having already owned one home on Lake Lanier, Chris thought, what could be better than to build or remodel one just the way he wanted it. And so the story begins of a project of passion about the lake, the house and a second home in Atlanta. The home, as you can see, is beautiful, rich in detail and filled with a handsome variety wood, glass and stone. The Burtons have since sold this masterpiece, but you can bet they left a chunk of their heart there.                                  View Slide Show
