Why Should You Build a New Home? //
People ask all the time: “Why should I buy or build a new home today when there are so many resale homes on the market?” The answer is simple and obvious to anyone who has looked at new homes over the past several years. New homes built today are better than ever,
and there may never have been a better or more economical time in the past 10 years or so to build a new home.
This year is already beginning to look up for many builders in the area, including Christopher Burton Homes. More people are looking, more people are buying and the climate of the market seems brighter than it has in quite a few years. With so many economic indicators pointing in a more positive direction, and lenders beginning to be more open to lending for new construction, builders and buyers alike are looking at the future with optimism and anticipation.
Two indicators that suggest a rise in homebuilding, and real estate sales in general, are an upswing in auto sales and furniture purchases. Growth in these industries has always been a precursor to home sales, and both of these industries are on the rise. Land costs are at or near multi-year lows, building materials and labor costs also are leaning in favor of buyers, and new building technologies and innovative features are making new homes better than ever.
Recent advances in ways to save on energy costs through improvements in products and construction methods are making new homes more economical to maintain, as well as more comfortable to live in. A single visit to one of the new Christopher Burton model homes will show you just how this builder designs and builds homes that look, feel and live larger than their actual size. These new plans capture the way today’s homeowners live and are flexible enough to accommodate any changes in lifestyle that might come along.
BUILDING AN EXTENSION OF YOU
Christopher Burton Homes has taken the approach that your new home is not just an extension of your lifestyle, but your personality. On Thursday, April 22, a bus-load of local Realtors from Brevard County, arrived at Wyndham at Duran to view the New Burton Showplace.

At the last stop of the day, the group of Real Estate Professionals was greeted by the Burton Staff and treated to lunch and a brief talk about the Burton difference. Many had never seen the new model, which only opened about 4 weeks before and several had never seen a Burton home before. The response was amazing and the compliments were free flowing. “Gorgeous,” “amazing,” “beautiful,” “impressive,” “stunning,” and “I could live here,” were all heard.

On Saturday the New Burton Showplace opened to rave reviews. The model home, which is quite different from past Burton models, is a refreshing mix of traditional elements and current design.
