ABOUT

Rich Woods
As a genuine “custom” homebuilder, our desire at Christopher Burton Homes is to make your dreams and desires become the reality of your next home. For over a decade our custom approach has shown proven results and has not only created for our clients the home they have dreamed of but saved them money along the way. At the initial meeting, our new client often bring photographs, magazine pictures, sketches or drawings along with their list of needs and wants. They then describe to our team what their new residence should look and, perhaps more importantly, feel like.

The Palazzo in Lansing Island
Sometimes we start with one of our existing floor plans or one from a magazine or book; but quite often, it’s just the idea in the client’s mind that is the real starting point. From that, our team of talented design professional begin to bring the concept and plan to life. The client has input throughout the entire process and thus a truly custom home is created just for them. The creation is hammered out, quite literally along the way, with changes and alterations a part of each build, until the final day of move-in and the collection of years of thought becomes a living reality.
With a tailor-made plan, a host of experienced and skilled craftsman and subcontractors, added to the finest quality materials and construction methods, the outcome was assured before the project ever began. Along the way, you can be certain we will fulfill your expectations and take care of the details you didn’t even know to ask us about. After all, that’s why our clients hire us, they have more important things to do than worry about the details of building a new house. We build each Burton home as though we were going to live in it ourselves. With that philosophy, we never have to apologize and our clients never have to second guess why they trusted us with one of life’s biggest decisions in the first place. “Building homes for life and relationships for a lifetime” is really more than a slogan; it’s what we believe is the cornerstone of our business and why we come to work everyday.
